An ancient Crone who's needs are nothing but food and travel; in such she's gained knowledge that can surpass or even be compared to that of the Oracles of old; or, the new. The fact of the matter is, the mists often accompany her; like whispers of fate they toil about her form obscuring the body of the ancient one with ease, providing a mystery that many have yet to solve. Though, only the most desperate step into such mist, or, the foolish.
She is a tough being, far, far tougher than many of the older blooded creatures, she fears not pain, it is only temporary; the loss of a limb? Such is the case, only Hunger, only Knolwedge are permanent things. To know, to survive, such is the world; and in her eyes, what is Life. She eschews such things as Silk or a Permanent Home; though gifts as such do by far make her feel like she was appriciated; the best gift is a live sacrifice or even a tid-bit of lore she doesn't know!
She is a Matron to many a Minstrel who has sought her; music, also an enjoyable thing, is something she rarely hears any more; it enchants her, like many, to it's notes. Though far from a bribe, it's the easiest way to ask her if she is Hungry without her moving into the mists, or; for that matter, eating the poor bastard asking!
Wisdom is often times free, if given to a Minstrel or person of Noble Ambition (She is Neutral, not stupid); she can be fooled, and has been many times; though that, again, is just life.
However, she cannot, ever, be fooled twice.
Steal Wisdom from the Crone?

So she is considered a monster. But is not truly evil... but meat is meat no matter what the meal may say. Though she can be bargained with. Prowls the water ways of Darpan. (and yes.. her pelvis is backwards)
